Earnings Calendar for your Stocks Watchlist
Earnings season is stressful. You have 12 stocks in your portfolio, at least three report quarterly numbers in the same week, and you want to know who reports when and what the consensus expectation looks like. Most broker apps don't show you earnings dates on one page. trade-insight does. Free, in beta. Works with Trade Republic via auto-import or with any other broker via manual watchlist.
What you see in the earnings calendar
Watchlist on one page
All your held stocks plus watchlist symbols, sorted by next earnings date. No tab-hopping between stock pages.
Pre-market or post-market marked
Each earnings event is labelled BMO (Before Market Open) or AMC (After Market Close) so you know when the live move comes.
Beat/miss history per stock
For each stock you see how often it beat or missed the analyst consensus in recent quarters. Concrete surprise values per quarter.
Analyst consensus
The current consensus expectation for EPS and revenue before the report, plus the actual values after the report. You immediately see whether the stock was beat or miss.
Weekly preview
A compact overview of the coming week, sorted by weekday. Helps with day planning.
How your watchlist enters the calendar
When you connect your Trade Republic account or upload a TR CSV, all positions are automatically added to the watchlist. You can add additional stocks to the watchlist manually, even if you don't hold them yet. The earnings calendar then automatically filters on all symbols in the watchlist. Data source is Finnhub, a provider with reliable earnings date and consensus data.
Typical use cases
Prepare for earnings season
Sunday evening you go into the calendar, see the week, plan which earnings calls you want to follow live, which you'll catch up on the next morning.
Setup decision before an earnings
You see that one of your stocks reports tomorrow before market open. Plus that it beat in 6 out of 8 last quarters. Helps with the decision whether to build or trim a position.
Watchlist building
You research new stocks and want to observe how they deliver over several quarters. Add stock to watchlist, earnings dates appear automatically, beat/miss history builds up.
FAQ
Which stocks are covered in the earnings calendar?
US stocks are very well covered, European stocks including DAX and MDAX as well. With very small or exotic stocks it can happen that no earnings date is available. In that case we show that honestly instead of guessing.
How current are the consensus expectations?
Data comes from Finnhub and is updated regularly. Usually the consensus values are stable a few days before the report. After the report the actuals are loaded within a few hours.
Do I get a notification when my stock reports?
Currently the display in the calendar is pull-based. You have to look in yourself. Push notifications for earnings events are a planned feature but not yet live. If you want a reminder today, set a price alert in trade-insight, it shows up synchronously in your TR app and pushes you at market open.
Can I filter by earnings date?
Yes, you can filter by today, this week, next week or date range. Plus by pre-market versus post-market.
